Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I love early kick-offs.:)

    AF9D9E1B-9EA8-4223-44AB062D1F7CB13E.jpgvmanchester-united-crest.jpg

    Venue: Goodison Park
    Telly: Sky Sports

    I'd like to see:
    VDS
    JO'S--Vidic--Evans--Evra
    Valencia--Scholes--Fletcher--Nani
    Park

    Rooney

I put in Park, because I think the game will be won or lost in midfield and Everton have a strong midfield.

I'm not confident about the game at all, and bookies have it right with United just below evens, imo, very tough game to call.

    I'd be delighted with a 1-0 scrap.

If ever there was a good time to play Everton it should be now (form and injuries etc) but the sh1t storm surrounding Rooney and the "we're playing United let's throw everything at 'em" side of things will undoubtedly come into play.
I'm obviously hoping for a United win, but I don't think it'll be easy.

    Glazers Out!

I'll go for a 1-1. We deserved far more than we got from the Villa game, hopefully we'll put it right tomorrow.

Except for Hibert that's a very good line up. Moyes is just so damn good at putting a team together on a shoe string budget.

Berbatov and Rooney have to start together up front for me.

It's going to be tough no doubt. I can't wait.

Thought Everton outplayed Villa for most if not all of their recent game.Think it might be a draw but a 98th minute Rooney winner would be sweet. :p

Apparently Rooney wasn't on the United bus that arrived about an hour ago. Make of that what you will.

It'll basically be O'Shea as a 3rd CB and Scholes and Fletch given much more freedom. I can't remember exactly when it was but I remember O'Shea played the same role in a game last season and was very impressive.

That team is crazy.I can kinda understand no Valencia and no Hernandez as they were in South America so would get back late, but I think it's a bad idea to not play Rooney tbh. He's going to get stick in every game this season.Might as well get the big one out of the way for him

Wow JOS in MF. Is Carrick injured?? He must be if not on the bench, and I'm just out of the loop.

Also did Valencia get injured in the Internationals? :(

Interesting team choice. Raf instead of Neville though would have been better. Still, SAF knows best :)

Rooney not playing is not bad IMO he be liable to get sent off here and miss the next 3 games

i fuc*ing hate international week, it always leads us to problems the saturday after.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,562 ✭✭✭✭yabadabado

carrick is out for a few weeks.we are light enough in MF with ando and carrick missing.I would have thought valencia and chico would be fit for the bench.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,246 ✭✭✭Mgoraf

    Whats up with Chico?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,254 ✭✭✭shano_88

Playing JOS in midfield says alot about Fergusons faith in Gibson.
