Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If Berbatov had gotten that inside the post it would have been a runner for goal of the season.

I do wish refs would just book players for doing what Fellaini did there, roaring and shouting in the refs face. It should be a straight yellow.

I'm not picking on Fellaini, there's loads of players that do it on all sides.

    Where is chico and valencia?

It would affect utd a lot more than other teams though

Not necessarily. Is every post of yours anti United? I'm not being smart, it's just that maybe United of ten years ago and you may have a point, but they aren't the worst offenders these days IMO. Either way I'd love to see it stopped.

United really struggling to get their foot on it in midfield. Scholes can't deal with the fitness of these players anymore, and thus we had to put O'Shea in there defensively. But he's not good enough on the ball which means we're having real real trouble keeping possession. Berbatov, Nani and Fletcher are all having very good games though, real goal threats. Hopefully we can still nick this. Going to be tight though.

if it was brought in that refs booked players for that it would only be a few weeks before it was stamped outta the game.hate to see it,every team has players who do it ,so it would effect every team no matter what mr. anti-united says.

Yeah was just thinking about that. If you switched the central midfielders of Everton and United this game would be a walk in the park for United.

I've been saying for a long time that United were more in need of a top class defensive midfielder rather than the Ozil/ Van der Vaart type people have been banging on about all Summer.

Don't about the midfield PHB. It's not a game for the midfielders to be able to get the ball down and play. Everton are effectively playing 6 in midfield, we're effecttively playing 5 in midfield so it's impossible to get time on the ball. But we need a midfielder there who can turn the ball round the corner to the striker or inbetween the full back and center back for Berbatov.

It's a day for getting it down the wings to Nani and Giggs (who is playing pretty poor at the min) and for those two to look to make runs in behind the defence across the line.

fellaini would be a great signing for united.imo he is a excellent player but i reckon rodwell is the one saf would be most likely to buy/want.

I've had the horn for Fellainin for a long time now. He has infinite potential and is scarily young and could probably be got for the same extortionate price United will likely pay for Rodwell in a few years.

How has O'Shea played in the centre?

    Brilliant, 2 assists for Nani.

Done OK but just not good enough on the ball to play with any regularity there.

Its not just the defensive midfielders. Like Scholes is very close to the end of his career and Arteta is just like him.

I don't think that we have even seen the best of him because in a team where he would get more space he could destroy teams imo. You put Fellaini in that United midfield beside Fletcher and Arteta in front of them and that team is bloody awesome imo.

Its crazy to think that Everton have a £10 million midfielder sitting on the bench who has done nothing wrong and then Rodwell who is not even in the squad today. Actually just thinking about it now you can't really blame Dan Gosling for getting out of there, his chance of games would have been limited at best.

Yeah definitely, he has done ok - would be unfair to pull apart his game today too much as it is not his position,

In fairness though United were losing it in the first half through the middle of the park, Everton were dominating them.

If a cross helps produce a goal that's an assist.
