Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hey, im just putting the finishing touches to a fixie im bulding, just one or two things left to do :D so what rear cog size for dublin ??? its a 27 x 1 1/4 whees, 172 mm crank, i have a 42t chain ring, so what size rear cog would be good for dublin ? 14 ? 15 ? i gone through all the ratio checkers etc but still dont know.…

also on the look out for pedals and a new saddle, im gonna take a pop over to rothar during the week but whats a good (cheap) bike shop in dublin for parts ?

15 @90 rpm =32km/hr
14 @90 rpm =34km/hr

pretty much the same really, just pick one.

I would go with a 16T or 17T, maybe 18T as it would be easier on your knees while you get used to fixed, you'll still be able to pick up plenty of speed.

If you're getting new pedals you can buy MKS brand in most dublin shops for a few euro more than it would cost online. They are decent quality at a good price
