Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Go to run and type in "cmd". At the command prompt window, type in "format /FS:FAT32 E:" If E isnt the letter of your hdd, replace it with the correct letter. Follow the instructions and it should start to format the hdd to FAT32

If that didn't work use a program like SwissKnife

I think you might need special software (or Win98!) to format a FAT32 partition that big. Have a look here

Hey I'm trying to do the same thing. I'm using 64bit Windows 7 so I downloaded the version that was compatible but to use it I would of had to pay. Anyone know of free software to do this?

Also is it possible to format half of it in FAT 32 and leave the other half as is. There is currently nothing on the HDD

it is possible to format half and half you just have to create a partition.

as far a free software for 64 bit i dont know off hand did you a software program called partition manager not sure what you can do with the free version but that should create your partition it might also be able to format it for you
