Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I recall being glued to the radio listening to Eamon Dunphy on the Last Word 9 years ago in this fatefull date.

I'm wondering does anyone know of any recording/podcast/link to this show or others like it from this date.

    thanks in advance.

I can only find RTÉ web news for 9/11 and the week that followed here

I remember listining to Conor O'Cleary on that show describing what he witnessed from his apartment.

I read Conor O'Cleary's book in which he describes 9/11 and his experience of it; I highly recommend it.

Anyway, I was only nine years old on 9/11. I don't remember listening to the radio that day, and the only RTÉ coverage I can find from that day is video from the news:

Anyone recall what the radio stations did on 9/11, particularly between 2 and 4 o'clock? Did the djs constantly update viewers or just allow the hourly bulletins to deal with it? Did The Last Word start early? I'd love to hear archive of radio from that day.
