Software question for Video/Screencast production

    Looking at videos such as this, what software package is most likely being used? In the video you have an amalgam of scenes from a movie, the reviewer's voice, interspersed with random images, some of which have been manipulated and altered, along with a soundtrack, all intricately woven together to create the masterpiece that is the review. How is it done?

    Secondly, with screencast youtube videos like this, what type of software/hardware is most likely being used?
