Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Folks, I already have an arcade machine but I want to play online with another console so I am wondering where is the best deal for the xbox 360 at the minute??

    So far I have gotten €125 for a pre-owned 360 20Gig in Gamestop.
    €120 for a preowned arcade.
    €169 for pre-owned elite.

    I already have the HDD so console only would be sweet to keep the cost down.

    I think I saw elites being sold in smyths brand new for 189, this is just me but I wouldn't buy a second hand console and gamestop only give you 3 months warranty on them. And if you only need the console you could try sell the hard drive to get some money back.

    Actually I noticed the elite is 170.99 in argos.

    I have seen that this includes the console, 120gig HDD, pad, cables and a wirless headset.... is that correct?

    Yeah it should have all the cables and stuff but I don't think it is a wireless headset but it is a wired one. To be honest though I would take a wired one over a wireless one anyday.

    just to say that under EU law, there's a 1 year guarantee on used goods sold by retailers (not applicable to private sales), so if anything went wrong in the first year, you would be able to get a refund/repair from gamestop. this only applies if there's something inherently wrong with the xbox eg it RRODs - it's not your fault in other words.

    The 4 gig S is 200 quid everywhere but it's only 180 quid in HMV.
