Hi I have web server running on a Linux box and want to access from the web. I have a DynDns account and a Ercom netopia wireless router , I followed the instruction on
http://www.netopia.com/support/intl/eircom/technotes/IEQG_025.html on hwo to give a computer on a network the IP address of you router. But when I ping the DnyDNS site I get nothing? Where have I gone wrong ?

i have my laptop set as a http server when testing web stuff. To get it accessible on the internet i added the service "HTTP" on the NAT page(Advanced> Configure>Advanced>NAT) in the router. (an eircom one) and that worked.

Got it working, DnyDns was using the wrong IP, cut and pasted the correct and now my Home PC can say hello to big bad world
