Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    John O'Shea-ky at the minute.
His distribution is woeful. Scholes had a go at him there a minute ago.

It's maddening watching Koncheskey play. He's atrociously bad. Every time he gets possession it looks like he'll lose it and more often than not he does. Just shows the small mindedness of Hodgson that he threw away Insua, a player with loads of potential for Koncheskey, a journeyman footballer.

You can do that all day Nani lad and I will be dead happy with you. :)

the same insua who couldn't run couldn't tackle and was constantly fouling

So you missed the three/four times Nani was marshalled by him, whereas Insua would have been turned inside out?

Insua wasn't as bad as you made out. He was average defensively but could contribute going forward, didn't give the ball away with alarming regularity and was a good crosser of the ball. Koncheskey contributes nothing going forward and really Nani has been giving him a bit of a run around today.

Hard to believe United and Liverpool were battling for the title two years ago.

Wasnt ever really a choice between Konchesky and Insua but Insua and Aurelio, who once again is injured.

Nani has been much more consistent for us these days, his decision making has gotten a lot better.

    Utd looking good so far!

I think so. Ok I exaggerated slightly with the run around bit but Jesus Koncheskey is poor. All United attacks coming down Nani's wing.

All United's joy is coming down our left hand side. For Nani's chance and again there when O' Shea got to the byline I have to wonder where Konchesky was or what he was doing? Those situations were his plays to make.

Cue a bunch of comments about how I'm being negative blah, blah...

Right now, it looks like we could play for the next two years and not score. Hopefully something will break for us.

I'd just prefer it sometimes if Johnson would be content to simply slide the ball out wide to whoever is there so that they could cross it. He is obsessed with faking that pass and cutting inside. It's good to try that, he's dynamic with the ball at feet, etc; but trying it every time is predictable and easy to play against.

impressive rolling around by Nani, hope he isn't badly injured.

    Dear Nani,
    Get up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,186 ✭✭✭Sappy404

Can't think of a single creative pass from Liverpool. What's worse, every time Scholes gets the ball, he gets enough time and space to pick out a run from a striker or an unmarked wide man.

Where were the similar comments when Meireles went down after even less contact by Scholes a while ago?
