Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

I'm going to be applying for rent allowance and was wondering how much of the rent it would cover?

Is it a fixed rate or a percentage of the rent paid?

    Thanks in advance

it all depends on where you live as to how much rent you get also you can only rent a place for a certain amount to be eligible

    Hi folks,

I am renting in a shared accommodation in Dublin and have been for several years now. The limit for a single person in a shared accommodation is 390 per month and as I was recently made redundant my landlord has thankfully agreed to reduce my rent in order to be in line with the limits set by the HSE.

I am just wondering if anyone would know if I need to be renting for the required period of 6months at a cost of less than or equal to 390 or is this limit only necessary in going forward from the date of your rent supplement application?

The reason I ask is that I have been paying rent for slightly greater than 390 and I am worried that I will be refused because of this.

Any help on this matter would be great!
    Thanks a mill
