So the mods of the Radio forum decided that news articles relating to radio should be taken away from the main forum and hidden in a much lesser read sticky: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056007545
Yet, they still allow certain articles to remain on the main forum such as this:
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056027925
Now, the trend is that there are issues with the Radio Mods and Cmods concerning any discussion on Salaries paid to RTE staff and the use of Licence Fee money. As you will see an article posted this morning was moved immediately: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=67977890&postcount=13
I did question the use of the sticky for articles and was told by one mod that if articles were generating discussion they would be left in the main thread. However, the latter article posted above was moved almost immediately it was posted. Should Mods with obvious vested interests or deliberate agendas to cover up discussion on our national broadcaster and it's finances and wastage thereof be allowed to carrey on such selective moderating? Anothe mod says that the articles would be placed off the forum at the discretion of the moderators hence censorship is the order of the day as certain topics may be discussed but other are covered up. Funnily enough the News and Media forum seem to have no such issues.
