old irish coins .notes wanted good prices paid

The old man has the old Irish notes in absolute mint condition. Would they bbe worth anything? I think he may have said 10 bob note and something else.

One is massive green one and the other is like an orange IIRC. He's always saying they should be worth something and we say they are not. I'd be interested.

hi these sound very intresting . would u be a ble to email me pictures .of hand i cant place the notes . but if there in good condition mint/ no rips tears they would have a value of course is the 10 pound note from the last circulation with james joyce on it or the lady lavery 10 pound note?

I'd say lady lavery but I'll find out. Oh mint is the word not even A fold on them.

if its the lady lavery 10 schiling note i would of 10-15 euro and if its the lady lavery 10 pound note id offer up to 20 euro if intrested

If they are UNC (uncirculated) condition then the 10 shilling should be worth at least 30 euro, but that would be for the final year of print which I think was 1966. If it's UNC and much earlier print date than that then it would be worth more.

The 10 pound lavery final print was 1976, it would be worth around 100 euro in UNC condition. Earlier print dates would be worth more.

If they are not UNC then it's worth less, there's different gradings, aUNC (about UNC), Extremely Fine, Very Fine, Fine, Good etc.

The easiest place to find out values is to watch bids on the notes in the Irish notes section on Ebay. They prices recieved normally reflect the value of the notes

yes thats true with ur pricing but involves selling to someone for them prices which everyone will try buy them for less than market value really my prices are ok for starting points depending on condition etc

would a set of irish millenium pound coins be worth much? or should i hold onto them for another few years?

I have a few coins. I have one from around 1925, I have an old penney from 1912 and 1917. I also have an old half penny from 1886(i think)

There are a good few others but I dont have them to hand at the mo, Most arent Irish though.

Yeah, I got them from change. Ok to good condition. The moment I got them I just put them away in a jar
