Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

After being made redundant I have set up my own small business from home. I dont have the luxury of having an IT support person for any IT problemss that may arise. I have been getting a friend to help out but I would like to learn more and maybe work through some IT course, so I can learn more about fixing any day to day IT problelms I ma have with my laptop or printer. What course would you recommend, A+ ec?

Probably the wrong forum, but I am sure a mod can move it.
Done the A+ myself, and its ok, but might have a lot of stuff that you will find no use for in your day to day desktop support stuff.

This guy could be off more use to you :

I'm not trying to start distro or flame wars here but if I were the OP I would probably do a Linux course, something like LPIC (www.lpi.org)

As a small business owner you may find that you get a lot more value using Open Source software as opposed to paying top dollar for propriatery software.

There are lots of Open Source ERP systems (AdEmpiere, OpenBravo) and CRM systems (vTiger)out there that will add value to our business and won't cost you a thing and the best part of implementing them is that you can learn as you implement these solutions.

As I said that's just my 2c worth!
