Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I,m from the midlands too. And for our maiden voyage we went to Lough Key forest park, near Boyle.

About 2 hours from Mullingar, on a main route, and easy to get to. Good facilities as well. ..

thanks Kadman but Lough Key is like home from home for me, Boyle is full of family and spent all major photograpic events there posing by the trees and the lake, eg, communion, confirmation etc...

Stayed in Galway a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday night, there is parking for campers on the quay next to the marina. Just 3 euros from 7 pm to 9 am. Water available and electric connection can be activated if you need it by buying a ticket locally. Great facility right in the centre.

Any where along the Shannon, Leitrim village , Portumna, Drumsna. Nearly every place along the river you can park up. Leitrim and Portumna have toilets and lovely picnic areas. Enjoy
