Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sorry to hear that KTRIC, you've been a very fair and good-humoured mod.

Is this due to old age?

Hope you will still be around to contribute to the forum.

Are you expected to hand back the pink fluffy moderators pants?

    Yes and Yes

God no, they're mine. I will be auctioning off my boards.ie ass-less chaps though. They're size 72 and won't fit any of the other motorbike forum mods.

...for a minute I thought you were giving up the 'bike, and I thought 'bloody hell, not another one...........'

..don't be a stranger here though, just 'cos you have to buy your own tea now......

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Happy trails dude! If you were going to ban anyone it might have been me but I lost my pointy troll poking stick ages ago.

Best wishes K-Tric. Is someone else taking over or is this a redundancy?

Best of luck - I thought it was going to be a "giving up biking" thread when I saw it.

I think it was a post by you, years back, showing a cafed W650 you had that clued me in to the existence of such a bike. Now I finally have one of my own!

Ah now, don't be going saying stuff like that and not showing me. Stick up a pic or I'll ban you with my remaining ban points :D

It's fairly stock, not cafe style or anything:

    attachment.php?attachmentid=127581&stc=1&d=1284488313

I've since changed the seat cover (it's grey on top, white piping, black on the sides) and added a couple of other "retro" looking things - light guard, mirrors and saddlebags.

Before I got it I really wanted a new bonneville, but couldn't afford it. Now I don't want a bonnie anymore, it's the best bike I've ever had. Not the best in terms of braking, handling or efficiency, but no other bike puts a smile on my face like it!

    Cheers KTRIC!

Are you going to organize a spin before you step down?

  • Registered Users Posts: 29 RozDev

    Hi KTRIC

Before you depart can you organise a sticky where board users can post pictures of their bikes, modified or ortherwise.

THe guys in the tech forum and the home entertainment have one and its great just to flick through to get ideas and stuff from.

    Many thanks
