Free skysports with "3" samsung galaxy s ?

    got the galaxy s from 3 last week. went into skysports 1 and was charged for it. thought 3 advertised it was for free.
    so rang up to complain and was told would get back to me in 48hrs, but never hear from them ......
    does anybody on 3 has the same experience.....?:mad:

    Did you click on the link to buy the access, then you will be charged?

    Navigate to this page on your Galaxy http://www.live.3ireland.g.box.tv that's the link into the free Sky, you get Sky Sports 1,2 & 3 and also Sky news. It won't use your data allowance and it's completely free.

    ya, used click to buy access......didnt realised there is a special link for the freebie.:mad:
    anyway tried the above link but not working......:D

    Make sure you are not using it on wifi or on 2g roaming.

    There is a "-" between the g and the box not a "." :o

    Nothing comes out of your data allowance, it's the same if your surfing around planet 3, previewing tunes or videos in the 3 music store, using skype or msn etc. All that is fully free, won't cost you a penny or any data.

    No charges showing up for me on Desire.
    You can always change your phone type on your my3 settings to say it's a samsung....

    Hi, sky sports on 3 is free if you access it through the free tab which is located near the bottom of the page in the planet 3 page. If you access sky sports through the sky sports link you will be charged.

    Hi, I have noticed that free sky sports on 3 is not working since last friday feb4th. Has anybody got the same problem?. As this is part of my contract with 3, I wonder where I stand regarding this contract now?.
