    Hi,

Has anybody ever got a copy of their house plans, with exact measurements and all that. If so could you tell me where to get them.

when doing some flooring in the house, I found the plans to be inconsistent throughout. You cannot rely on the Architect's drawings. I recommend measuring up yourself and drawing out the rooms. A nice local professional can help you with that ;)

I also note, the rooms in the two-bed houses in each of the seperate estates in Charlesland vary greatly i.e. the houses which are timber framed have a larger front bedroom and smaller rear bedroom; and in the masonry built ones it is vice versa. thats what happens when you sub-contract out design to timber-framing specialists!

Thanks for the replys. I was thinking that they would not be reliable, so have got someone in to do measurements.

    Cheers
