Running - Training for a football (soccer) player

    Has anyone got a good training plan for a football player, someting that mixes the requirement for endurance and stamina over 90 mins and the requirment for repetitive short sharp sprints?

    Been out for six months, age not on my side, need the fitness before I begin to kick a ball.

    Any advice appreciated.
