    Whats the craic with this place. Heard the bouncers are ****ers and ask you what company you work for when you try enter?

    But drinks are only 2.50 on a Wednesday night?

    Do they show the champions league games?

    And finally, incase the bouncers are ****ers and we dont get in...where is a decent spot to go to instead?

    Bouncers are not that bad IMP, we went there for a few work functions and the like. The drink is cheap as chips earlier on in the week and sometimes they lay on food too. Coppers is nearby.

    Ive never had a problem with it, its a student spot more so during the week. Not sure about the match though. If you dont like it their id say the bleeding horse.

    They usually show games, yeah the bouncers can be dicks but there's so many people trying to get in over course of evening they can afford to be picky. It's E2 on Tuesdays for a pint.

    Ive never been so dont have first hand experince with the bouncers, but after reading a few reviews on the net and everyone was giving out about the bouncers.

    Is there anywhere else that does 2.50 drinks on a Wednesday night?

    Place is full of bellends but I've never had problems with the bouncers. They used to have TEKKEN SECURITY written on the back of their jackets. Dunno why you'd want to watch a match there, plenty of nicer places in town.

    There is an upstairs area that companies book. You only need to to tell them what company you work for if you want to get up there. Its cheap and busy and there is plenty of space. The bar staff are dreadful though.

    you shouldnt believe everything in read on the internet :)

    people complain about the bouncers being dick heads - were probably being dicks themselves :rolleyes:

    never had problems with the security there - personally, i dont like it but not because of security

    We wanted to go there for the 2.50 pints. Apparently Macturcaills has 3.50 pints and would be better for the match. So that seems the better option.

    Thanks for all the replies, i will check it out sometime.
