    You see, that's the point.

You can't look at them like everyone else, because you don't know which bloomin' eye to make contact with.

It's impossibe to do both & as someone pointed out, the way to make it not look like you're trying to figure out which eye to focus on, is to pick a point on their forehead & that's not what you do with everybody else.

One eye makes contact directly with the person their talking to, you can tell which eye it is as the other eye wont focus on you. If that makes sense.

I ''had'' a squint in my left eye, i have 20/20 vision in both eyes and yes i can drive. When i look at someone and focus out lets say the right eye and the left looks the other way.

So if I am talking to you and you are focussing out your right eye that eye will then be looking directly at me . Your left eye will then look away , if during our converstaion something distracts you and your left eye takes the focus , your right eye will look away from me.

All the while I am trying not to be rude but you are at an advantage because you can be watching the world go by while I am trying to remain courteous and look you in the eye while conversing with you.

Have i understood your predicament , without meaning to be rude.

You'd be handy as a look out.
