OK, I've decided to treat myself and go big! :D I'm looking at the LG 60PK590 as my best option for a 60" plasma. Can you give me price on this TV and also delivery to Enfield, Co. Meath? (Are there any "extras" thown in?)

Also I see this has freeview HD. I am a relative novice to this type of stuff, so what does this mean for me? Is this any use to me at my location, and what else would I need to use it?

I'd appreciate if you could let me know as soon as possible as I'd be looking to order immediately.

    Thanks,
    BigL

If this is not possible, can someone let me know so I can go elsewhere.

    Thanks,

    Hi BiG L.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

    The LG60PK590 is currently £1299.95 / €1600.

I would have to look into delivery for you as delivery of this size of screen is not always possible due to the size of it. I won't be able to find that out until tomorrow.

Freeview HD in this TV means that the TV will work in the Republic of Ireland as freeview HD uses MPEG 4 tuners which is the same system as RTE use.

We also offer our 5 year at home warranty on this screen for £129.95 / €160. This covers all parts, labour and at home collection if the screen goes faulty.

I hope this helps but I'll get back to you with an idea for delivery.

    ATB

    Dave

If delivery is not an option then I'm assuming I'll need a van to collect it from Belfast as it's unlikely to fit into any normal sized car/station wagon? (and probably needs to be transported upright?) Do you know the dimensions of the box?

Obviously, delivery would be the prefered option though :).

    Thanks again,
    BigL

Things must be great in the Electrical Retail world if Richer Sounds can afford to ignore paying customers looking to spend 1600 euro...

Can someone lock this thread please?

    Thanks,
    BigL

Big L apologies for the delay in our reply - as you will have seen I have just started to respond to posts again over the last hour - unfortunately I have 2 Colleagues who normally assist me on boards out through illness / leave at the moment - apologies again - however if you do have an urgent request you can always call the shop or indeed my office on 01.843.9231 (this number is on my sig at the bottom of every post)

I unfortunately do not have the exact box dimensions but I would guess the box size is approx (W*H*D) 1900*1300*600.

If you would like delivery we can deliver at £129.95 to Enfield.

Apologies again for the poor service we will try to do better :o,

    ATB,

    John Mc & Crew
