Portable Hard Drive 1TB

    Hi,

    I would like to buy a Portable Hard drive for the office.
    Therefore features like Auto Backup, Secret Zone and Safety Key security and reliability, are to be considered.

    I could get IOMEGA 1TB portable drive from Carphone for €100 but no safety key in it. I heard that Western Digital are one of the best. Is there any knockoff price website out there for these type of things?

    you could look at amazon.co.uk
    should have a good range

    what do you mean by safety key? do you want to lock to a desk or encrypt the data?

    there is free software out there for encrypting any drive

    Ecrypt data will be fine. A key a plus

    bought an internal drive a week ago from www.elara.ie
    www.shop4memory.com and www.komplett.ie are other places I usually look

    truecrypt is good encryption software
