Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I had to shoot this at ISO 3,200 as I only had ambient to work with.

So then I smoothed the noise in LR3 (Which is great, really really amazing software) and then added some mock film grain which is a bit prettier than noise and for all intents and purposes fits this I think.

Jesus thats funny! Do you find it so hard to believe I threw a camera in the air? I can upload the 50 or so pictures it took before I got it right if you wish?

Not that I don't believe you (no reason to doubt you!) but just very curious now to see some of the "Fails". Think they could result in some funny shots?

I'll upload a few to photobucket, mostly just the sink and walls in the shots.

Nice to see that work in progress. And the perfectly balanced toothbrush on top of the mirror ;)

I'll probably have nightmares about my camera smashing into a sink, thanks. Great result though.

Great idea! I love the end result too. I would never try it though, I am too clumsy and would drop my camera for sure.

i keep meaning to source a cheap old compact with a self-timer and taking photos with it, hurling it into the air.

Nice one! You could flip horizontally to get rid of the mirror image.

I tried that, it just looked weird for some reason.

Edit: After fixing the crop it looks miles better!

A bit risky there young Jay throwing your good camera up to catch the shot, while looking in the mirror and then focusing on the camera again to grab it . Have you tried the circus :D.
    Well done!
