A bit early maybe but fcuk it.
Things need to be freshened up. Hutton, Gio, Keane, Niko,Seb all in the running to play a part.
Need 3 pts to keep things ticking over in the league.

    P.S. It's on Setanta afaik.

    cudicini
    Hutton--Gallas--Seb--BAE
    Lennon--Hudd--Modric--Bale
    Gio
    Crouch

    Maybe?
Sandro to start in Carling Cup

I think there will be a good few changes this week and I could see the lineup being something like this.

    cudicini
    Kaboul--Gallas--Seb--BAE
    Niko--Hudd--Modric--Gio
    ---Pav---Keane

We really need the 3 points from this one after a couple of disappointing results in the league. I'd go with as strong a line-up as possible, with one or two changes to freshen things up after the Bremen game. We have the Arsenal CC game in midweek to give the fringe players some game time.

    Cudicini
    Corluka---Kaboul
    Gallas
    BAE
    Giovani---Palacios---Huddlestone---Bale
    VDV/Modric/Kranjcar

    Crouch

The AMC slot depends on the fitness of Rafa and Luka. Jenas could play instead of Hudd, who is due a break. I think Lennon should be dropped, with Niko or Giovani getting that slot. If Niko plays RM then Hutton could work well at RB, providing width and allowing Kranjcar to drift inside.

this game is a must win. after they did us twice last season and we have started poorly. we really need to put a few past them to get the confidence of the strikers back up

keane played against fulham last night after playing tuesday night. to me that sounds like they are getting him fit and up to speed so he will start on sat ??

I think Harry will play a strong team as possible, hopefully along the lines of:
    cudicini
    Charlie - kaboul - gallas - BAE
    lennon - modric - Hudd - Bale
    Van der vaart
    Crouch
Dont think Wolves will carry much of an attacking threat, if they get a result it'll more than likely be a 0-0, 1-0 or a 1-1. Not much need for a defensive midf. Hopefully the lads will put in a big performance, much needed in the PL.

you said it, we have to win this no question. We suffered really badly against teams like Wolves last year and we are showing the same tendecies so far this year. Need to shake that off.

Can you see a good few changes and can also see Keane starting. Think Harrys hand has been forced by injury or we wouldnt have seen Keane at all. If he gets his chance up to him to show he still has it, time to sh*t or get off the pot.

Not to mention I am slightly bitter because I should have been there but have been off work sick for the last week and a bit and still not right so have to give it a miss. At least I got rid of ticket I suppose.

indeed - watching it in the comfort of your living room with a cup of tea aint bad either :-)

Harry Redknapp reports that Rafael van der Vaart is a doubt for Saturday's match against Wolves at the Lane.

The playmaker was forced off just after half-time in our Champions League draw at Werder Bremen after suffering with a sore calf muscle.

Rafael trained separately with the fitness coaches on Thursday and will be assessed further between now and kick-off on Saturday.

"Rafa's calf is still a little sore," said Harry before training on Friday. "We'll have a look at him this morning (Friday) but I don't want to risk him breaking down.

"He has a sore calf and you don't want that to turn into a strain or pull. We have to be careful and we don't want to chance him."

Harry also said Luka Modric was still struggling with a leg injury and that Heurelho Gomes is not fit enough for selection.

Jermain Defoe (ankle), Michael Dawson (ankle, knee), Jonathan Woodgate (groin) and Jamie O'Hara (back) are all sidelined

vdv dosent look like he will be risked at all. modric also doubtful. if they dont play then we will have one attacking threat and thats bale. if wolves double up on him then we will be in trouble

    very nervous about this one

Jenas and Hudd again? How they look? Nice to see Robbie start but it's looking increasingly likely my constant faith in the guy Is going to be unfounded.
