Ryan Mathews carted off the field, his ankle looks to have taken a nasty knock.

Am I the only one who thought game over as soon a New England scored a TD?

As a Cowboy's fan, I cannot but be deeply concerned by what I have seen over the past two weeks. The decision to cut Folk and Suisham have been proven incorrect, while the decision to trade Patrick Crayton to the Chargers is really biting the team in the ass, and it is blunt from post score kick offs

The team has the body language of a team which is unhappy. Romo spent most of the evening with his shoulders slumped. The same old problems with indiscipline have remained, and cost the Cowboys almost 50 yards today, while it cost them a game winning touchdown last week. Amazingly, Jay Cutler was given prime positions to make some incisive passes, and it has been a long time since I have seen the likes of his throw to Knox.

Last term the Cowboys lost twice to the Giants, once to the Packers, once to the Chargers, and once to the Broncos (who were riding the crest of a wave) in regular season. This term they have already lost to the Skins and the Bears, who MUST be beaten if a team is looking to do much this season.

what's the record for combined number of turnovers in a half? chargers jags just keep handing the ball back to each other.
edit: and chargers give it back one play later ffs
edit 2: 2 plays and chargers get it

    7 so far

Maybe too soon? Pats will prob win but the Jets D is pretty good tho...

I have come to hate the Jets so much over the past few months. I hope the Pats kill them.

This is a tough one for me. I was so up for the Jets in week 2 last year. Now I'd be happy to see either team lose. Probably slightly up for the Jets though, becazuse the Pats always frighten me, tbh.

Yeah but I was more thinking of the Jets offence which subsequently have already proved me wrong :)

Jets offense is pretty good on the ground. Sanchise, so far, has been decent too.

Revis is Moss' little biatch :D What a catch.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,646 ✭✭✭cooker3

    What a catch!

Great play by Hernandez and then a great catch by Moss even though he is on Revis Island

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

    BOO YA!!!

    Brady to Moss!

EDIT: gotta give a special mention to Hernandez

    Moss what a catch

That's some 2007 shít right there.

Nice that Revis had a ready made excuse though. How convenient ;)

    Revis who?? :P

shame that field goal was good

Good game so far. It took an amazing catch by moss to beat revis. If revis has tweaked the hamstring again the jets are in trouble.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,646 ✭✭✭cooker3

No way Revis is acting. He would never miss a down just for that.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,658 ✭✭✭✭Peyton Manning

    Dang. He IS human.

    Broncos up by 17 now.

Anyone else have the feeling the Jets are gonna win this one?

They are playing a lot better now on both sides of the ball

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,658 ✭✭✭✭Peyton Manning

Mark Sanchez having the game of his life :(

    Edit: LT, fuuuuuuuuuuck

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,341 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

The Patriots need a big 4th quarter. They are second in everything at the moment. LT is killing it. And a Jets TD.

    I agree with Simms. I wouldn't have gone for a 2 pointer.

    2 point conversion successful

    jets up by a TD

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,308 ✭✭✭Pyjamarama

    Edwards beard is AWESOME!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 148 ✭✭Pegasusbridge

LT in full flight is still a fantastic sight. Still worried that without revis the jets will find it hard to contain the pats. Hope I'm wrong

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,646 ✭✭✭cooker3

Looks like an interception to me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,339 ✭✭✭me-skywalker

I dont know if I would want the Jets to win this'll just spur them on for the rest of the season and set them up big time full of confidence... If Pats win its just back to business but also shows they do have vulnerabilities and can be got at.

    great interception!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,307 ✭✭✭cruiserweight

Redskins just had a field goal blocked, which would have put them 10 points up with about 6 minutes left. From the Redskins being in a strong position, there is plenty of time left for the Texans to come back

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

    important stop right there

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,658 ✭✭✭✭Peyton Manning

If there's any QB you want when you're behind in the 4th quarter, it's Brady.

I forget his stats, but in these situations, it's ridiculous how clutch he is.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,608 ✭✭✭themont85

Not so terrific Tom here. Sanchez has looked very good.

Bills blown out as expected, we ran hard but just lack talent...

Matt Forte is more of a receiver these days than a runner. Only saw highlights and stats and whilst Cutler is playing great and so is the D, those running stats are awful. They won't go far with those.

Devin Hester's catch was just , Randy Moss's was equally as  You gotta love the NFL.

Was there a reason the Raiders benched Jason Campbell and brought on Gradowski at half time?

Was it injury or just bad form?
I'm still trying to find out

I reckon the Redskins are going to blow their big lead, Texans are driving up the field

Schaub has to be one of the most underrated QB's ever!

All even now :( But there are two minutes left on the clock for the redskins

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 19,986 ✭✭✭✭mikemac

    Oh yeah

Andre Johnson gets a TD on 4&10 with 2:05 remaining

    Game now tied

Matt Schuab is indeed underrated, among the top group of QB's in the league

Not looking good for New England

I don't think he's injured. Whatever the reason, be grateful!
