Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No money in Post Office

    I've been getting payments from the community welfare officer for the last few weeks whilst waiting for an appeal to go through.

    In the mean time I was offered a place on a FAS course which I decline because I feel the course will have no benefit to me and I would rather continue job seeking.

    I went to the Post Office today to collect money and there was no money there for me. Would this be because I turned down the FAS course?

    They can't legally stop your payment for failing to attend a FÁS course. Maybe they switched it to another PO?

    Why would they have switched the payment though? Without telling me?

    Nobody here knows why your payment was stopped. Contact your CWO.

    I am going to him tomorrow.........I know that I need to go to him but I was wondering if they would have stopped it because I turned down the FAS course?? That was my question not why it was stopped.

    Nothing to do with FAS course. It was because the dole office closed my claim. Went back in and had to start a new claim. So payments are back in place with CWO.
