    At one point i thought it was slightly off with some of the angles which the pictures were taken from :D ah sure even if they were we could always use it for bungee jumping. The bridge that never was right next to the town that never was. :D

    Ah, that's the string that bears 50% or more of the weight of the bridge in an extradosed design?
    I'll wait until plenty of HGVs have passed over it before I go for a spin :)

    It looks to me from the northern end that the N25/N30 link is pretty much complete. Reckon that part will open before the bridge?

    The most likely cause of the delay is with the bridge, so it would be reasonable to assume that the section you refer to, plus the section to the bottom of Camblin Hill, will be ready on time, or at least before the bridge part.
    Unless there are contractual reasons preventing a partial opening, I can't see why they wouldn't open it.

    Update as of last Wednesday a total of 36 deck segments that will make up the main river span between piers 3 and 4,21 segments have been completed, and 7 of the 18 cables at pier 4 have been installed

    Where did the 2020 date come from? All iv heard and read was originally July 19 but then November 19. I did not see 2020 mentioned anywhere.
