    I am in urgent need of a motorcycle helmet preferably second hand, would anyone here have one at home thats not being used?

    i would not wear a second hand helmet for safety reasons but i dont know your circumstances. so i wish you good luck with it.

    There is an old saying in this regard-
    Get a 10 bob helmet if you've got a 10 bob head!
    Seriously not a good idea for a variety of reasons mostly involving safety.

    I agree but a second hand helmet is better than none, and it's for free and hasn't been dropped.
