Woodplane - Electric or Manual

    I saw an electric one in Aldi or Lidl some months ago for less than €30.
    I'm kicking myself since that i didn't but it.
    I need one now for a little DIY around the house, eg planing skirting.
    I'd be grateful for details of a bargain on an electric or even a manual model.
    I live in Co Galway & don't want to have to travel too far to collect.

    if its only for small diy projects you want it for then just get a small block plane they're very cheap. i'm a carpenter and use one more then i would an electric one

    Try either B&Q in Galway for cheap electric planer or Homevalu Hardware (look up local to you). For a proper i.e. also expensive one, Caulfields on the Tuam rd. sell the best mind you they may have a special on and you may get a good one cheap.
