I read that he once mistakenly greeted Sid Vicious as Mr Ferocious in his immaculately posh voice in a misguided down with the kids moment.

    I loved him after that.

One of the greatest men that ever lived. It's just so sad he went the way he did and still young only 45. :(

He brought us some incredible music in his time :p

One of the greatest rock frontmen ever. Brilliant voice and stage prescence. Watch the Live Aid set on YT in its entirety, he has the crowd in the palm of his hand.

Brian May is a freak, who basically married himself....

Disrespect Freddie at you pearl. He's recognised as possibly the greatest front man & rock singer of all time.

I completely agree with above by the way.

Massive Queen fan since I could walk. You can not take the piss out of this guy. Nobody has the talent to rip the piss out of Freddie.

Back the fook off Freddie

I quite like Nirvana, but Cobain has done nothing to be mentioned in the same breath as Freddy.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Freddie's collaboration with Bowie is possibly the best of all time.

Some of the stories that came out are almost comedy gold and always make me smile

    - His 40th Birthday party he had (allegedly) midgets bringing around silver trays of coke for guests
    - During Live aid he cornered Bono, pushed him one hand against a wall and said we've talked about you and like you alot. Bono talks about it on a video on youtube,
    - The skit he did with kenny everett wearing all leather, Kenny introduces him and he starts pouring milk on everett then when kenny asks him show us what you do he jumps on top of him :D

    - Live Aid is this the world we created, one of the saddest songs i've heard and all the more apt considering the location.

Always enjoy some Queen best frontman ever.

Have a look at Freddie on Live Aid. He had the crowd in the palm of his hand.

I remember years ago, a guy in school picked up my discman (remember those) and started ripping the piss when he pressed play and heard "Bicycle Race". I thought, you absolute idiot - you have no idea about music if you laugh at Freddie Mercury/Queen.

I remember i had greatest hits 1 in 4th class and used to listen to it on my tape player, remember people ripping the piss out of me for not liking

    - Boyzone, Take That, Spice Girls, B*Witched.

Your daughter isn't the one that smacked the other girl in the mouth, is she?

I hate that I wasn't old enough to appreciate their music at the time :(
