The Game 2010/2011

Ok we're a few game weeks late, but that shouldn't matter. This is a game I've seen played on another forum, and it's a fun way of maxing interest on other matches.

Basically, anyone can play, and each week, you have to nominate 4 players who will score in the upcoming set of fixtures. You can nominate any 4 players, but one of your players must be from a club in the bottom 5 in the league as the gameweek commences. This player is called your super-scorer. Each goal your players score is worth 1 point, but each goal your super-scorer gets is worth 2 points.

Here is the upcoming game week. Your super-scorer must come from one of the teams listed in blue.

Game Week 5

Stoke vs West Ham
Aston Villa vs Bolton
Blackburn vs Fulham
Everton vs Newcastle
Spurs vs Wolves
West Brom vs Birmingham
Sunderland vs Arsenal
Manchester United vs Liverpool
Wigan vs Manchester City
Chelsea vs Blackpool

Simply list your four players to submit your pick, preferably leaving your super-scorer until last (and in blue if you're feeling good

). We'll keep a weekly leaderboard, with the overall prize being the fact you get to say you were right on the internet. My picks for Week 5 are as follows:

Are we allowed pick 2 super scorers and still get 2 points for each of their goals?

If so: Drogba, Malouda, Etherington, Arteta

If not: Drogba, Malouda, Fabregas, Arteta

No, just the one.

You can pick 4 players from the bottom team if you want, but only one can be your super-scorer, and you have to indicate which one (which you've done, but just telling others!)

Just the one super-scorer man. So say you nominate 2 players from Everton this week - Arteta and Cahill. You'd have to nominate one of them as your super-scorer. He would score 2 points per goal, the other would only score 1 point per goal.
