Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Folks,

Hoping someone can give me a dig out here. I'm looking for an 11-a-side floodlit pitch in Dublin to rent out for a friendly some Friday evening, a hockey pitch with big goals will do. Preferably somewhere close enough to the City Centre but we'll consider anywhere.

If anyone has any ideas would they please let me know?

    Many thanks.

DCU have a large astro pitch (made up of 3 normal astro pitches)

They are pretty booked up but you might get a slot on a Friday night

Newpark Secondary School on Newtown Park Avenue in Blackrock just off the N11 has a very good astro/hockey pitch. Played astro league there a few years ago.

Also wesley college in Dundrum/Sandyford has a hockey pitch...

I play regular 11 A-side matches on this pitch and it is amazing.

Same FIFA grade Astro pitch as CSKA Moscow use.

About a 5 min walk from the local DART station and the Dart to Greystones from Tara St is about 30mins.

    Top top quality pitch.

Pembroke Hockey club, serpentine avenue, have a large pitch that you can rent, a full hockey pitch, its just in ballsbridge near the dart stop so its fairly handy. Not sure when you'd get it though.

Leixlip United just had a Uefa approved astro pitch put down. It's full size, floodlit, marked out etc. They played their first game on it last week, looks cracking.

You might get it on a friday evening if they're playing away, you could ring and ask.

    They're deffiently renting it though

Ring Irishtown Stadium. They run the council pitch in the park next door.

Full size astro, floodlit - FIFA standards etc.
