There's a new wine shop opened on La Touche Place, a couple of doors down from JuJu boutique. It's called La Touche Wine, the owner lives in Greystones and used to be the wine buyer for Donnybrook Fair.
He was very nice, and has a good selection, plenty of reasonably priced stuff as well as more swanky options. Good to see a new local business opening in the middle of a downturn!

Ha! Nope, I can categorically state that I have no connection at all with the place, apart from being quite fond of wine!

Wasn't there a wine shop beside Declan's Barbers shop a couple of years ago, It closed after a short while.

it was an italian deli-type place that also sold wine.

Point stands that there has been a lot of turnover both in that unit (deli, record shop, fruit and veg shop) as well as the place where the new wine place is (hardware store, kids clothes, gym/fitness equipment retailer).

Not a lot of parking available for the shops around there, although pay parking on Eden Road will have helped. Still, it seems Declan's (and the hairdresser above) and Paraphenalia are the only ones that have been there more than a few years.
