Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

how come Krancjar is so out of favour?

and Jenas plays and not Palacios?

    interesting.

Palacios is in terrible form and we need to play possession here and we shouldn't need someone to break up play

Looks like a case of if/when Spurs can break down Wolves defence.

Wolves have come more into it but it still looks like Spurs have that bit of attacking quality.

VdV has put in some lovely balls from set-pieces.

    Reasonably decent game of ball

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

Ah Bale that should of been a goal :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,951 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

has anyone got any streams for any of the matches on at the moment?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,492 ✭✭✭MementoMori

Foley caught out badly by a through ball and Bale has a one-on-one with the keeper. Not a great effort from Bale and ball falls to Keane whose shot is deflected wide byut a defender for a corner.

How come Modric isn't een in the Spurs squad? Injured?

Think so..not too serious I think more of a niggle iirc.

VdV shoots straight at keeper after luckyish ball falls to him.

Spurs the better side but Wolves are doing reasonably well in a defensive sense.

Ooh tasty ball in by Bale onto Crouch's head and keeper makes a decent save to tip over.

    Villa 1-1

With ten mins to half-time Wolves hanging on a bit to still be level.

Steve Harper stretchered off for Newcastle after a collision with Beckford.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,492 ✭✭✭MementoMori

Bale puts another great ball in but Keane heads wide.

Don't think Wolves have had a proper chance in the half.

I don't believe it 1-0 Wolves Fletcher ffs

    Newcaslte - Hatem Ben Arfa

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,492 ✭✭✭MementoMori

Smash and Grab from Wolves

    Foley to Fletcher 1-0

    Fairly poor defending by Spurs

'Arry will be fuming at HT

    Kaboul off Hutton on.

I thought Kaboul didnt look great.

Not sure they would even know how to celebrate that at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium... Blackburn go in front and you have to ask questions of the referee. Mark Schwarzer comes a long way for a free-kick and El Hadji Diouf barges him to the floor, allowing Chris Samba to glance a header into the empty net. Schwarzer is bemused, Mark Hughes is fuming. He had every right to be.

    :D

Ben Arfa with a screamer

My god, Bale is something else.

No disrespect to Spurs, but i can see him playing for Barcelona, Real or United in 12 months.

That goal was a huge boost for Wolves as it really gave them something to play for.

Wonder if Spurs Euro adventure will be felt in the last 30 mins especially given Wolves have bought on 2 fresh pairs of legs.

BBC on football focus giving it as a Danns OG and their Online text gives it to Odemwingie for his second

    EDIT:

Seems Odemwingie rounded the keeper, and Danns just failed to keep it off the line.

    Beeb
Peter Odemwingie in to round Ben Foster and slot into the net, with Scott Dann not quite managing to kick it off the line. Jubilation at The Hawthorns.

First five yellow booking suspension of the season. Fellani has some serious competition for the PL bad boy title between Perch and Cattermole
For the fifth time in five Premier League matches, Newcastle's James Perch is booked, this time for a foul Steven Pienaar.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Fellani getting away with murder there.

    Heard about Perch probably

<Also I read this in the Hart to Hart intro voiceover >

Wolves continue to frustrate Spurs with time running out.

    Keane off Pav on.

That's two awful dives from Gareth Bale today. Pathetic.

Ref bottled that Foley should be off for a second yellow.

Looking forward to 'Arry's post-match interview.

Over-reacted with the yelp but definately caught. Yellow imo and I don't really mind anyone kicking Spurs players.
