Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thought Gyan might start for Sunderland, but Bent and Wellbeck will cause the Arsenal defense problems,

Good to see Meyler back in the team too, might get the attention of Trap again.

Is it Meyler or Henderson playing,

BBC have Meyler in the team, hence my comment above.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,660 ✭✭✭SDTimeout

Sunderland haven't won in over 13 months unless bent scores.

    What a goal.

That's given arseblog so much ammo in terms of cesc's determination what he was making a point about today.

Of course you could see the way Fabergas got his knee under it :pac:

This looks like it could be a very spicey match

Can't find a stream myself so I'm just gonna keep quoting the BBC:

1759: Not great news for Arsenal as captain and goalscorer Cesc Fabreags trudges off at the Stadium of Light and is replaced by Tomas Rosicky, who takes the armband and keeps it himself. Not sure what the injury is to the Spaniard, but will let you know as and when.

Impact of the ball against his ankle did it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,178 ✭✭✭_Bella_

I worry for Arsenal. Sunderland have been the better team so far and it feels like only a matter time before they score. ESPN saying it is his right knee.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,570 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

2-1 Sunderland all over it now.

Not the best but better than reading updates.

Appears cesc has a hamstring problem.

  • Registered Users Posts: 663 ✭✭✭SimpleLogic

Latest from ESPN is that Fabregas did his hamstring

I reckon if Sunderland don't score before half-time, they'll be in big trouble!

Good work from Chamakh to get the corner

Impressed by Sunderland, better team, unlucky to be behind. May score soon though and turn some of the possession into goals
