Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sunderland have never won a PL home match when they have been behind at half-time.

Yeah against Villa last year when he came on and scored two goals.

And the home game against Burnely last year too.

    And Barca.

    Guy's a trooper.

That red card is hilarious because of Wenger's opinions before the match.

No yellow for Bramble? Phil Dowd is an absolute joke.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

BBC says that Song got a second yellow for obstructing Malbranque.

This is going to be tough with little protection for the back four.

Song sent off, second yellow, for a block on Sunderland player

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,139 ✭✭✭Wreck

Song got a second yellow for obstructing Malbranque, couldn't do a lot about it. Two ridiculously soft bookings imo.

Complete joke, right in front of him also, you couldn't make it up imo :(

Sent off for an obstruction??? FFS!!!

Bramble should have got a yellow, but Song's 2 yellows were deserved imo.First one maybe not by itself but he's made a fair few fouls in this match.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,692 ✭✭✭✭OPENROAD

ha ha Dowd books a sunderland player and Arsene starts bowing down :D

Need to get Denilson on for Wilshere asap then so.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,818 ✭✭✭Minstrel27

First yellow shouldn't have been given imo. Second yellow I can understand.

Denilson already came on for Arshavin.

The yellow card was probably deserved cos he clearly obstructed the Sunderland player in fairness. No idea how Bramble didn't get booked though.

We don't need Vela on... we need to kill the game and keep the ball. Sunderland looking dangerous on the counter.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,570 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

I'd imagine the reason Chamakh didn't take it is because when they practice them in training Rosicky is better and further up the list.

Just unlucky our first three peno takers (Fab, RVP, Arshavin) were all off the pitch.

yeh but he may just create a chance to seal it, since we cant kill it

    and well done Al again

    Al's having a stormer.

I don't like my veetle commentator. He says stuff like Shhtyle and Shhtrike like something out of hardy bucks.

Chamakh is going to be much more valuable dealing with the inevitable last minute corner though. No need to bring Vela on.
