Looks half fun. Still free, afaik. Wasn't bad when it was the old one, but now with better guns. Will give it a try - can't be much worse than BC2... :pac:

On a similar note there's been talk of another free-to-play Battlefield called, Battlefield Assault. A bunch of domains got registered using that name and variations on p4f, as well as job listings that mention managing a play-for-free game from Dice.

Hopefully it'll be a first person shooter. Pretty sure Heroes is still free; registering still is, anyhoo's. And they've done a decent amount of tweaking and fixing, esp for a free game.

More info on November 4th apparently, other than that there's no idea on the content.

Heroes is indeed still free, and there have been a tonne of improvements made to it over the last year, with no signs of that letting up.

Hey Spear, where did you see that November 4th date? I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere before.

I saw a comment on the EA forums that said more info would be coming on that date. But there's no justification for that, probably best to ignore it.

Cheers for that, it'll be interesting to see if "TG jneagu" is proven to be legit or not (TGS Vietnam vid was quite predictable).
