Audi A4 1998 dieslel quattro question

    Hi, just a quick question, hopefully someone can help with some advice!
    I must replace the back box on my car, Audi A4, 1998, 1.9 diesel quattro.
    The old box is gone so not salvagable. Im finding it very hard to source one second hand but I have found one of a petrol quattro of same model. Does anyone no if it will be ok to use this? Or if nbot does anyone know where i could get the right one second hand? Thanks alot!
