    Hi there

I lost my teaching job in june after 3 yrs working full time with vec. I have got nothing since and not likely to. our vec are only giving jobs to people with hdips from now on, you dont need dip to work with vec so I was fine up to now. Im now recieving social welfare and was hoping to go back and do the hdip next yr as it is my only chance of getting employment. My problem is that I have a masters. from reading the social welfare website its says im not entitled to get btea if I have post grad qualifications. Im wondering if I say nothing about my masters have they a way of finding out? I dont need to declare my masters when applying for hdip as I have enought points without it.

thanks for reading this far. I dont want to cheat the system ...

Mod Edit - then don't go asking for advice on how to do so. - billy

Yes they can find out. If you don't declare it that's fraud. End of.
