Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hello,

    how about a few suggestions,

    1. a road from cork, right up through the country, like an axis right through athlone,

    2. an ocean road for tourism, from galway to donegal along the coast, kinda like the great ocean road in australia?

In the current (& future) economic climate, we'll be lucky if the current road network gets decent maintenance let alone funding for major upgrades!

No definite plans for a midlands corridor like you mention, but the N80 and N52 if upgraded would be the best routes.

This is the Atlantic Corridor and is being progressed with the emphasis placed on Cork to Tuam for the time being.

Take a look here for existing threads on any topic you'd like to discuss and feel free to post there.

Also, there is a currently active thread on roads between now and 2020 here.
