Accept - Blood of the Nations

This latest Accept album has been in heavy rotation for me few weeks now and every time it sounds better and better. New singer Mark Tornillo is great replacement for Udo and band is stonger than ever after 1985. Blood of the Nations will be one of the metal albums of the year 2010.I hope to see band live as soon as possible....

I'd never heard of accept until this album. Was playing it alot for awhile but i have to admit it gets a bit boring after the first 3 songs. I cringe at the lyrics on the title track & tend to turn it off there. Might give it another listen tomorrow & skip that one & see how it goes.

On the upside i started listening to Balls to the Wall & what an album! Won't be turning it off any time soon.

Crikey didnt even know they were still on the go!

I used to love them and saw them live back in the 80s. I cant remember who played with them. It was either Dokken or Queensryche.

Its a shame theres no Udo. Is that the only line up change?

twas 1987 and yeah dokken supported.
Amazing first gig for me, still love that band.

the new singer is ok but he's no udo!!!

If that's the case then you might not get by London Leatherboys on Balls To The Wall

Personally I think it's a pretty good album.

I am really happy about this gig. After poor response in this thread I was sure that there is not enough Accept fans in Dublin but fortunately I was wrong.

Really not a fan of the rock type of bands like Ac/dc etc. but accept are such an under-rated band, once you hear metal heart you're hooked really cannot wait, and the new album is quality!!!

sweet tune love it, i remember the first time I heard that tune it was actually the cover Dimmu Borgir did on their Godless savage garden EP in 1998 I think (amazing cover BTW), but once I heard that galloping riff, I had to go out and buy the orginal, and really glad I did
