Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mod Note: Right, on second thoughts I'm cleaing up this thread because it was going nowhere fast. For future reference, if you've a problem with a post, don't respond by calling someone a knob, which is itself a breach of the forum charter. Report it instead. And sometimes a joke is just a joke and no malice is intended

Fergus is a really nice guy and this is such a fantastic achievment for him. He's worked his socks off this year. I remember being at work earlier in the year and he'd be posting runs on his Garmin to the internet. I'd be sitting in the office feeling green with envy, but he was out there putting the hard kms in and to top it all of with this shows how much his efforts have paid off. Brilliant result and well done to Fergus! Chapeau!:D

A4 race yesterday was typical of most A4 races this year, with any break pounced on if the numbers in the break got around 4 or more. Great course, and at least it stayed dry for the race. There was one climb on the route going over the windy gap on the way back to portlaoise and had to be climbed 3 times on the 60k circuit. Bunch pretty much stayed together for the whole day with sporadic attacks going in which came to nothing and was a sprint finish at the end. In only his third open race this year the sprint was won by Fergus in a close sprint at the end.

Great end to the season and looking forward to next year already....
