    Hi There,

    Hope someone can help me.

I've got the Vodafone branded Huawei hg556a wireless modem, and I'd like to move my windows home server out of the living room (as it's too noisy). I bought a Belkin N+ wireless router and want to set it up as a wireless access point for the home server but am struggling to get this setup working.

    Can someone help?

the Huawei is set up with an ip address of 192.168.1.1 with a dhcp pool of 192.168.1.3 to 192.168.1.99, subnet of 255.255.255.0

How should I set up the Belkin N+ so that it'll connect to the existing wireless network and let the windows home server connect to the web and to the other computers on the network?

    Thanks,

    Pete

Switch off wireless on the huawei and use the belkin handle the wireless.
Connect the huawei LAN port to the belkin wan port.
    Should be good to go.
