Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Android update ?

Havnt seen a thread here so wanted to know if anyone else got an android update this evening? The update just came through for me now. Looking on some twitters and blogs and cant get any information Not entirely sure what the update is or does, but a friend said the keyboard is much improved

The update just came through for me now.

Looking on some twitters and blogs and cant get any information

Not entirely sure what the update is or does, but a friend said the keyboard is much improved

You might want to be more specific, maybe? Phone model, operator...

I have an SGS on O2 and didn't see anything so far.

Update is for the non-branded Desire (so Meteor in Ireland).

I've a non branded. Just came threw last night, noticing through the day the keyboard hasnt put a foot wrong where I normally have to manually enter some stuff.

Other then that nothing major, but an update none the less, came through last night about midnight.

Software information reads the following.

Android Version
2.2

Software number
2.10.405.2

Got this about 2 weeks ago and it was nothing major and didn't break anything either. I think they pulled it for a while as it was causing some issues. I don't use the stock keyboard so i have not really noticed much difference

I too got the update. Haven't installed it though. Rooted mt desire a couple of months back. Debranded it and then installed the stock 2.2 ROM, I think.:o

Would this ROM/root on my phone if I were to allow it to install?
