Excellent list, kudos, Alton's one of my favorites, after seeing his deep fried Turkey last year I've been hooked on Good Eats.

I love good eats, but can find him a bit manic at times.

Learn a lot from his show however

Thanks for the links! I've never heard of Alton Brown before, but I've already watched a couple of the episodes. :)

Best cooking show I've ever watched, hands down, no contest.
And the books are pretty much as good and in the same style as the show.

    I Love Good Eats.

My OH made the "Overnight Cinnamon Rolls" last week.
They are from "House of the Rising Bun" Episode.

They were Yuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmm! and easy to make,
but are quite involved so do take a long time,
All I ate last friday were cinnamon rolls.

They were so good I took a pic of them:

oh my, making cinnamon buns is on my to do list, once i have a spare 1/2 a day. thanks for that I'm starved now!

They are fantastic, but be sure to:
    a) have a lot of room to roll the dough on your worktop; and
    b) have a large enough baking dish.

I tried without (b) before, and wound up with a cinnamon hedgehog...

He's brilliant! Can't believe I've never heard of him before... is he shown on any UK channels? I've even just bought the book that accompanies this series. :)

Both of those cinnamon rolls look great, by the way.

Fell in love with Good Eats in Jan '09. Alton is the king of Brownies :D

Good Eats is currently on Food Network at 5pm (2 eps :D), and Food Network is FTA, so you should be able to get it on any digital service :)

Just wanted to add my thanks too - not watched Alton Brown before - he's great, reminds me a bit of a more sane version of Heston Blumenthal. The programme on espresso was really interesting - off to watch some more!
