Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think he's been crap all season although he seems to manage to always get assists and goals.

And about the match - Only Wilshire, Gibbs and Kos have been good, the rest have been poor, I predict Penalties.

Meh Arse are gonna struggle for fourth this season, so are Spurs, probably a game they are both better off losing.

I'd say both with a general 'doesn't seem bothered attitude' thrown it too.

There is no "last man rule"

There's a "clear goalscoring opportunity" rule that generally means that the last man is preventing one and is therefore sent off.

Chamakh was going away from goal though, hence the yellow card. Would be the same if the keeper came out and clattered him instead of getting the ball.

I asked during the World Cup and a few said they had. There was no mention of it from FIFA but judging from the decisions in the World Cup and this season so far it seems they're leaving it up to the ref.

Good ol' Bentley not letting us down. :pac:

What game are you watching? He was bearing down on goal and his next touch was a definite shot

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,178 ✭✭✭_Bella_

    Gibbs going off injured.

Maybe you should untilt your TV so, :) he was angling away from the centre of the goal. He may well have got a shot off but if he's moving in that direction it'll always be a yellow card.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,942 ✭✭✭missingtime

Shame about gibbs, close to motm for me

  • Registered Users Posts: 302 ✭✭Corcs001

Do ye not rate him no? Surprised at that tbh. Think hes a handy player

He has flashes of brilliance every few games but I can't remember a great performance from him since the liverpool game. No real consistency imo.
