    Hi,

    I'll be turning 21 in the next 2 months and I'm looking for some ideas on what to do on the night. I've a function room booked but I want to avoid the typical night of getting hammered and listening to a shocking dj play ABBA all night!

    Now don't get me wrong, people will inevitably get drunk and all that but I'm looking for a few games/activities that will make the night a little bit more memorable. Any ideas?

    Would trying to get an acoustic guitar player to play instead of a dj be a good plan? Or do you think a dj is a must?

    Any ideas welcome!

    Not sure what area of the country youre in or what your budget is but theres a great company based in Ashbourne called event dimensions where you can hire items for the night, website is www.eventdimensions.com They do casino nights, theyre brilliant!! They have carnival games, giant jenga, connect four,chess games etc. Have been to a good few parties and events of theirs and they are very good! Enjoy your birthday!:)
