Castlebar road sweeping.

    If someone from Castlebar town council is on here could they please get the brand new road sweeper(well 09) to do more than the same few streets in the town each morning.Approach roads are a disgrace,i see gully's blocked on the ring road and the round a bouts are a disgrace,dirt/gravel all over them.No point having a big road swepper if ye are not going to use it.Its not a good sign when the lines on the road are covered in crap.Ye have a sweeper-use it.

    i agree wihh oscar bravo the county town is a disgrace with litter maybe they should have spent some money cleaning the place up rather than putting down expensive paving for foothpaths

    Might be a problem with budgets.....coming into back end of year some services may be cut. Dunno if anyone noticed that the council is now saying that the responsiblity for hedge trimming, maintenance is the responsibility of the farmers/people that own the land and not the council. This is despite the fact that the council have been doing it for many, many years.....
