Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I could have sworn there was a thread made in here about this film (that has won various film festival awards) about a platoon of US soldiers who had to do a years duty in Afghanistan and it covers the whole 12 months, I've no idea what it was called and maybe I imagined it was posted in here, but any ideas what it's called? :D

One of the lads in that movie was a chap by the name of Salvatore Giunta.

Now a Staff Sergeant, he has recently been awarded the Medal of Honor. The first non-posthumous award in some four decades.

I agree; it's a great film. I used to think RDF officers were idiots until I saw Cap'n Dan roaming around the KOP like an angry retard.
