I know 2 people that live there.. aside from its closeness to the M1/Drogheda, that's about all there is to the place in my opinion.

Good location in terms of proximity to Drogheda and Navan, motorway makes it a handy spin to Dublin too. Just don't socialise there, the locals are headcases imo...

Close to Drogheda, close enough to Dublin. Little Napples Italian Take Away.

    **** selection of pubs.

Used to be a village with a strong community spirit that saw it through many a great day like the 1500-year celebrations and dark days like the floods of the 1980s.

Now it’s just another dormitory village/town with not enough services for the expanded population. Being inhabited by the extended families of infamous Dublin underworld operators hasn't done it any favours. Allied to all the speculators that purchased cheap houses, yearning for the day to return to the mother city, who now contribute little else but buying the odd pint of milk down the local shop. It’s easy to understand why the cons outweigh any pros.

It has the some pretty cool ruins of an Augustinian Priory if you're into that kind of thing.

one word for the place - KIP.

The best thing about it the the road out of it!

Friendliest village in Ireland apparently, although I'd highly dispute that.

It's just a grim place that you have to drive through if you're going to Drogheda. O' Neills is supposed to be a rough spot at times. Been a few years since I've been in it myself.

Wow, don't think I've ever read such a damning report of a place in my life!

You wouldn't find it so damning if you ever frequented the place.
